Since "In 49 states it's just basketball," I decided that Indiana teams needed to keep playing basketball, even if they weren't invited to participate in the NCAA Tournament.  Yes, IPFW and Indiana State did get invited (and accepted) to keep playing, but let's be honest, if you aren't invited to the NCAA Tournament, the next best tournament you can play in has to be the Indiana College Basketball State Tournament.

The selection committee for the Indiana College Basketball State Tournament is made up of brilliant basketball minds that took weeks scanning Indiana teams' resume´s to make sure everybody got a fair shot at an invite.

After hours upon hours of review, Ball State's and IUPUI's selection show watch parties were spoiled when the ICBST(Indiana College Basketball State Tournament) Selection Committee made them aware they were not even invited to their own state tournament.

However, the Indiana State Sycamores were ecstatic to find that they edged out the Mastadons from IPFW for the tournament's #1 overall seed, and homecourt advantage throughout the tournament.

Alas, the rest is up to you, Indiana college basketball fans.  Vote below on who will win the first round matchups in the first ever IBCST.  First round voting will close Wednesday night, 3/19 at 11:59 P.M.
